My friends say that I always find the good deal (sales) on clothes, home decor etc. And I was thinking about it yesterday. I don't try to look for the sales I just check my e-mail to see if any stores are having sales pretty much and if they are GREAT sales like 75% off I g, if not I don't even bother. I say this because I recieved an e-mail last week from Cold Water Creek that their was going to be a HUGE 75% off sale for a few days. Well I really wanted to go but didnt have time until yesterday after all my babies went home. So mom and I finally decided to go and to my surprise (usually there is nothing good left after a few days of a GREAT sale, you get my gist) they had tons of clothes in my size that were on sale. Of course after trying several not everything looked good but a lot of the clothes fit GREAT. Well let me just say that along with my purchase I bought a pair of black suede flats (super cute!!) that were originally $79.99 and I got them for $18 bucks and several of the tops I purchased were originally from $59.99-$89.99 each and I got them yesterday for $9.99 each. WHAT A GREAT DEAL!!!!! I mean I bought tons of cute clothes that if I would of bought last week would of come out too MORE THAN $1000 and I didn't even spend $250 (I did the math). It's awesome!!! I LOVE SALES!!!! Especially sales at good quality clothing stores like Cold Water Creek. OK I know that not everything at CWC is fashionable for the young crowd but if you really look they do have really cute clothes that fit really well. Yes their are certain items that I would never even pick up but for the most part I think CWC can be for us younger gals too. I LUUUUUUUUUVVVEEEEEEEE SALES!!!!!!!!! By the way same deals going on at ANN TAYLOR too. I bought some nice things there too for a great price. Just walk straight to the back of the store. There is no reason for any of us to pay regular price for clothes at these fine clothing stores. Just wait for the SALES!!! I DO!!!!!!

My mind cant stop decorating
It's so funny because I thought that because I was done with Christmas and The Christmas Shopping Extravaganza in December that my head would be free from decor. for a while. BUT NO!!!!!! It wasnt even New Year's day and I was already planning and gathering idea's for a great baby shower and than started thinking of what the next great holiday was. Of course VALENTINES! My mind thinks and thinks and thinks. I say my mind and not me because even when I'm sleeping I am THINKING!!! Sometimes I even wake up in the middle of the night and just write ideas down because I don't want to forget them in the morning. For example last night I woke up at 3:50am just to write down this idea I had for my Valentine's decor. My mind never rests and if I think I am done with one thing it only takes me a few hrs or days to come up with something new to work on. I mean is that wrong? Am I obsessed? I mean I am already thinking of where things are going to go next year for Christmas. I am planning now for an occasion that will be in 1 year!!! What in the world!!! I've been to most of the great sales around town for Christmas and even to cities out of town. I mean now that I think of it, are you kidding me!!! On my relaxing trip to Savannah I was even thinking of decor. FUNNY HUH!! Well I guess I should be ready now for next year. My mom says I'm too cute but for sure obsessed with style and decor. But I really do think its the time to do it. IF not now than WHEN!!! Buy everything I need on sale and next year I will be ready. Or just buy on sale. Not just for Christmas but after every holiday and next years decor will be ready and you would of not paid full price for anything. I mean 75% off and on top of that another 50%. Come on cant beat that. I got several ornaments from Dillard that were $15-$22 EACH and paid about 60 cents for them. Are you kidding me how could I pass up decorating my new tree next year with amazing ornaments that only cost 60 cents each. Anyways WHATEVER!!! HE HE!! I love it and it works for me. I think and think and think and think some more but I LOVE IT.

IDEA FOR THE DAY: Presentation is the key
When I first started cooking it was all about how to make my husband and I happy with the meal that was in front of us that evening, and I guess so that he would think I could cook. HE HE!! Because I am not sure I always did know how to cook. I remember helping my mother in the kitchen 80% of the time when she was making a meal. But was that really me cooking or my mother?? Anyways so I REALLY STARTED COOKING full on 4 course meals by myself when I got married. Many times I thought to myself, "Do I really know how to cook or do I just follow recipe's". But now I know it takes more than following a recipe to make something taste yummy. Time passed and I new that food wasn't only to eat but to enjoy and I really enjoyed cooking it and transforming nothing in to something wonderful. After a few years of trial and error food started perfecting it self and it would take less time for me to make something that would take me several hrs to do before. Revelation came when the Foodnetwork shows came out like Semi-Homemade and Barefoot Contessa and these shows made me look at food in quite a different way. FOOD LOOKED BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, ENTICING!!! WELL JUST PLAIN GORGEOUS on t.v. and I wanted my food to look like that too. So I started to slowly perfect the look, now that I knew how to perfect the taste most of the time. :) Now I am not at PERFECTION yet, unfortunately I still have a lot to learn. But I am learning and trying to take in all the different ideas that I see EVERYWHERE. I truly am learning and can't wait to learn more. I love to cook and create recipes that make me and others feel good. FOR REAL!!!!!!!!!!
